High temperature is a big problem for all electronic devices.

Overheating can cause irreparable damage to devices and laptops in particular!

The most common failures due to overheating are:

• Graphics card (GPU) damage

• Processor (CPU) damage

• Motherboard damage

• Corrupted operating system (Windows / OS X / Linux)

That's why physical cleansing is something you should not postpone if you experience any of the following symptoms:

• Turns off without any warning and does not start immediately

• It restarts without any warning

• It shows blue screen

• High temperature on the surfaces of the device

• The air that is getting out from the fan outlet is too hot

• It does not release any air from the fan outlet

• It sounds like the internal fan is always working at maximum speed

• Slow speed or it freezes sometimes

The process of physical cleansing involves the following steps:

1. Temperature measurement in the condition we received it

2. Disassemble of the device

3. Testing the internal fan for good operation

4. Cleaning of the heat-sink and electronics from the old heat-conductive paste

5. Heat-sink, air duct and interior plastic cleaning

6. Installation of a new heat-conductive paste

7. Assembly of the device

8. Measuring and comparing temperatures from before cleaning

The cost of this repair is 40€ and for the cases that require replacement of the internal fan the component is the only additional cost.

This job requires one business day to complete and the warranty is 6 months. This does not mean that you will need to clean your device again in 6 months. It is enough to follow some rules for proper maintenance of our device.

• Avoid using your laptop in places with high temperatures and not in direct contact with sunlight

• Even turned off, avoid to leave it in places that can be overheated, such as inside a car during the summer

• Do not use your laptop on very dirty surfaces

• Do not place your desktop or laptop in places where they do not allow the air to pass through easily, such as a laptop on a rug

• Make use of a cooling pad on the laptop for more efficient air flow

• The laptop should be switched off during transport

Note that physical cleansing can be done to all brands of laptop (Acer, IBM, HP, Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, Fujitsu Siemens, Packard Bell, Sony Vaio, Multirama, Asus, E-Machines, Turbo-X, Apple, Advent, MSI, Razer, LG, Compaq, Innovator, Quest, Vero)!
